About Foreign Beggars:

Critically acclaimed UK group Foreign Beggars, individually known as Orifice Vulgatron, Metropolis and DJ Nonames, have built a revered reputation over the last decade for their versatility, prolific creativity and high octane live shows. Motivated by a continuing desire to push the envelope, they have progressed from their roots in underground hip hop to an eclectic and visceral fusion of these influences with electronic music that has seen them go from strength to strength. Following a diverse series of singles for mau5trap this year, the trio are set to open the latest chapter in their evolution with new album ‘The Uprising’ which is set to drop on deadmau5’ label on 1st October 2012.

From underground UK Hip Hop dons to international dance/rap phenomena, Foreign Beggars style and presence has been setting the standards in UK Rap for over a decade. Top ten chart smashes, multiple award nominations, millions of YouTube hits and working with the world’s biggest producers, Noisia, Flux Pavilion the Grammy award winning Skrillex, make Foreign Beggars one of the most in demand artists on the planet.

Currently performing well over a hundred shows a year the group have performed with a number of high profile artists spanning a range of musical genres. Foreign Beggars first three album releases were through Dented Records; a label that is owned by the group and was created to support their own material and a host of UK underground artists.

Foreign Beggars’ recent output has been a genre-defying blend of their former machinations and speaker-busting, dancefloor rumbling dance music produced by the hottest artists around. 2009’s ‘Contact’ (hundreds of millions of views and plays on YouTube), taken from their third album, saw them combine furious London-fuelled flows with Noisia’s crunching electro backbone - the start of what has become Foreign Beggars’ new obsession; fusing hip hop with dance music.
